Holly River State Park's Windy Gap School
Come enjoy Labor Day Weekend with your family and friends at Holly River State Park where you'll enjoy live music, arts & crafts, classic & antique cars & trucks, and plenty of old fashion fun for kids of all ages, like pie eating contests and Sunday's Holly River Hustle during this year's Holly River Festival! It is truly a unique celebration of Appalachian culture and history, featuring quilts, turns at stirring the apple butter as it cooks in a large copper kettle, and tours of the restored one room Windy Gap Schoolhouse.
